The Adult Graduation system
Corda crua/raw cord (Beginner)
This cord symbolizes the beginning of the relationship of capoeira between the new member and the Obra Prima institution.
The graduation characterizes two distinct conditions:
Student Beginner- Student has not graduated on the capoeira wheel.
Student Trainee- Student coming from another graduation system, being able to be evaluated as a student, graduate, instructor, teacher or master.

Intermediate graduation between the raw cord (beginner) and the yellow cord .
CORDA AMARELA/YELLOW CORD (symbolizes gold)
Gold is a precious metal extracted from nature and after being stoned becomes more valued. This cord represents that the student is beginning to show a stronger side in capoeira in the cultural, historical and professional aspects.
CORDA AMARELA E LARANJA/YELLOW AND ORANGE CORD

Intermediate graduation between the yellow cord and the orange cord.
CORDA LARANJA/ ORANGE CORD
(symbolizes the sun)
The Sun is the largest star symbolizing the awakening of a new day. The student in this graduation is led to awaken to the awareness of learning not only the game of Capoeira, but the awakening of Capoeira in general.
CORDA LARANJA E AZUL/ ORANGE and blue CORD

Intermediate graduation between the orange cord and the blue cord.
CORDA AZUL/blue CORD
(Symbolizes the sea)
The sea is infinite before the human eyes because its end can not be seen from the sand. This graduation of the student symbolizes the immensity of Capoeira.

"The Forest" - Means one of the lungs of the world. The Core of the graduated student. It is in this graduation that concentrates all the work. It is the solidification of learning. It is this graduation that will leave the continuation of the philosophy and the basis of Obra Prima Capoeira.

CORDA roxa/purple CORD
(symbolizes the amethyst)
"The Amethyst" - It is reflection of the continuity of capoeira. It is in this graduation that the capoeirista becomes an instructor in our system and seeks to overcome physical, psychological and spiritual pain in the search of the knowledge of Capoeira and becomes defender of the philosophy and ideals of our institution .
CORDA roxa e MARROM/purple and brown CORD

Intermediate instructor graduation between purple cord and brown cord.
CORDA MARROM/brown CORD
(Symbolizes the chameleon)
It is this cord that characterizes the style, "The Chameleon". It is the first TEACHER cord in Obra Prima. It is from this graduation that the future masters of our institution will leave.

Intermediate Professor graduation between brown cord and red cord.

(Symbolizes the ruby)
"The Ruby" - Is the stone that symbolizes justice. It is the phase that the capoeirista becomes Master of Obra Prima Capoeira. In this graduation Capoeira acquires the awareness of the responsibility that it has for the Capoeira, seeking to conduct its work and its decisions with justice.
